Michelle Vieth Paetau was born on November 19, 1979, Marshalltown, Iowa. Michelle is an American-born Mexican actress of telenovelas. She was married to actor H?ctor Sober?n from 2002 to 2003.

Her family moved to Acapulco when she was three, and at the age of 15 she was invited to be an extra in the telenovela Acapulco, cuerpo y alma. Chilean producer Valent?n Pimstein invited her to a casting for Televisa, however she was suggested to enroll first in the Centro de Educaci?n Artistica (CEA) to study acting and modeling. Two years later she auditioned for Mi pequeña traviesa and she obtained the leading role. In 2003 she was a member of the celebrities living at the house of Big Brother VIP Mexico becoming the fourth member to be expelled.

After her divorce with H?ctor Sober?n, an explicit home made sex-tape was released featuring Vieth, who accused Sober?n of releasing the tape to affect her career.

The video is said to be from her honeymoon, which she alleges surfaced on the Web following her divorce.

Sober?n denied to be the man in the video as well as releasing it. By then she was already dating Leandro Ampudia, whom she had a baby with in 2005.
