Yasmin took a brief hiatus from modelling in early 1986, after her marriage, but soon returned to the business and in April 1987 was hired by Guess? for a key advertising campaign. By 1989, she was one of the highest-paid models in the world. She appeared on the cover the first American and British issues of ELLE.
