Victoria Silvstedt was born September 19th 1974 in Skellefthehamm, Sweden. She is a former world class athlete, and a highly unusual combination of a successful fashion model and Playboy playmate. When the 5 ft. 11 ? inch blonde Olympic hopeful was forced off the Swedish National Ski Team by injury at only 16, her mother and sister entered the into the Miss Sweden contest. When she became the runner up it set off a chain of events that led her to modeling in Paris for the likes of Chanel and Christian Dior. Soon, Silvestedt changed directions when Hugh Hefner approached her to be the December 1996 centerfold. By the following year she had done many more appearances on the magazines cover and within its pages to become the 1997 Playmate of the Year. Shes since added 15 Playboy Special Books and 12 Playboy videos to her roster of appearances, and also appeared in FHM, Gear, GQ, and Maxim. Silvestedt has a physical similarity to Anna Nicole Smith in her prime, which might be why she was also made a spokesmodel for Guess. She is married sportscaster Chris Wragge in 2000, the couple have since separated.
