Vica Andrade was born June 16th, 1972 in Palmares, Costa Rica. She is a glamour model, scripted television actress and reality show participant. Her first onscreen credit was in a small role in a 1997 t.v. miniseries We are Angels, followed closely by her co-hosting gig for Al Fin de Semana (1998), or To the Weekend. However, she has come to be known as more of a personality than a talent across Latin America. She has built up her onscreen personae through appearances on the Big Brother franchise. She was placed in the house of a second installment of the Mexican version of Big Brother peopled with minor and real celebrities called Big Brother VIP 2 (2003). The show was so popular that it received The Reality Show of the Year Award from the INTE, the most important Spanish language award giving body in the world. Andrade became one of the best known Costa Rican women across Mexico and Latin America in the process, returning the following year in a few guest spots. Then she was cast in a comedic take off on the idea called La Escuelita VIP, or The Little VIP school (2004) which had the adults wearing school kid outfits. Andrade is divorced, and has one child.
