Who is Verona Feldbusch?

Verona Feldbusch was born April 30th, 1968 in La Paz, Bolivia to a German father and Bolivian mother. She is a former Miss Germany 1993, Miss Intercontinental 1993, and t.v. personality in Germany. Feldbusch tried modeling, but success came from beauty pageants. She quickly gained titles like Miss Hamburg, and finally the Miss Germany title that allowed her to compete in the Miss Universe. The two sources of her fame are becoming fodder for the tabloids and her own presence on reality television and genre shows. Tabloids reported that Dieter Bohlen— from the most successful German pop group, the duo Modern Talking (120 million albums sold together, an additional 40 million for Bohlen on his own— became infatuated with Feldbusch who was 14 years his junior. Bohlen reportedly asked Feldbusch to marry him 6 times before she finally agreed in 1996, only to be followed by a quickie divorce. After these headlines propelled her to celebrity status, Feldsbuch became a regular t.v. presence on shows like Peep! for 4 years (1996-1999), and as an actress in SOS Barracuda 2 (1999) and as Yetta Pussell in a t.v. parody called 2001: A Space Travesty. Shes also posed for provocative pictures including her own calendar. Feldsbusch married Franjo Pooth in 2004, they have a son, San Diego.
