Valeria Mazza was born February 17th, 1972 in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. She is an Argentinian supermodel and former host of Fashion MTV. She fits the supermodel height requirement at 5 ft. 10 in (1.78 m) and the extraordinarily beautiful face requirement with blue-green eyes and blonde hair to frame it. Mazza was discovered by a hairstylist named Roberto Giordano, but it was the 1996 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue featuring her and Tyra Banks that led to her high water mark. The cover was historic for having the first model of African descent on the cover, and notable for the fact that there were 2 beautiful women for the price of one. Since then, advertising campaigns and cover modeling have been staples. Mazzas appeared on Glamour, Elle, Photo, Cosmopolitan, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, New Woman and GQ across the U.S., Latin America, Europe and Australia. Apparently, the blonde hair is the result of chemical applications, rather than nature. She said that since appearing on Sports Illustrated with blonde hair no one recognizes her when she wears it darker, so shes had a habit of dying it blonder and blonder as if it were a drug. Mazza is currently married with 3 children. She studied to teach children with disabilities and intends to pursue this career soon.
