Who is Trish Stratus?

Trish Stratus was born Patricia Anne Stratigias, on the 18th of December, 1975, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. She studied biology and kinesiology at York University, when she was approached by MuscleMag International to do a test shoot. She appeared on the cover in May 1998 and signed a two year contract. She continued to work on her body and appear on magazine covers. She also began working on the internet radio show Live Audio Wrestling. The WWF spotted her modelling work and in 1999 they signed her to a multi-year contract, sending her to Ron Hutchison for training. She debuted on the 19th of March, 2000, and retired in September 2006. She then appeared in the reality television series Armed & Famous. She then hosted The Second City’s Next Comedy Legend. That same year, she married high school sweetheart Ron, and went on Armed & Famous rather than her honeymoon. Trish refused to pose nude for Playboy. In 2007, she announced she would be opening a yoga studio in North Toronto.
