Tina Hobley was born on the 20th of May, 1972, in Mill Hill, London, England, UK. She was shy as a child, and was therefore sent to drama classes. She ended up at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in 1990, and stayed until 1993. She landed her most famous role of Chrissie Williams on Holby City. In 2006, she participated in a poker tournament. She was suspended from Holby City without pay for a month as the BBC had signed her to an exclusive deal that banned her from taking part in anything commercial, and even though she only played for three hours, and her fee went to charity, the suspension remained. She was written out for twelve episodes. She was married to graphic designer Steve Wallington, since 1998. They had a daughter named Isabella in 2000, but they have divorced. She is now married to Oliver Wheeler since 2006 and she is currently pregnant again.
