Who is Thalia?

Thalia was born Ariadna Thalia Sodi Miranda on the 25th of August, 1971, in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. She is a singer and an actress, and is one of the most famous women in Mexico. Her career began in 1981, as a child of ten years old, in the group Din Din. In 1984, she was cast as Sandy in a teenage version of Grease. 1986 was a big year, she replaced one of the singers in the group Timbiriche, Sasha Sokol, and was cast in her first telenovela, Pobre Senorita Limantour. She moved to Los Angeles in 1988. In 2000, she broke into the US market in the film Mambo Cafe, and that same year, she married Tommy Mottola. They now live in New York City. They have since had a child together, named Sabrina Sakae. Thalia has released eleven albums thus far. Her fan club has more than twenty branches throughout the world.
