Terry Farrell was born Theresa Lee Farrell on the 19th of November, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA. At sixteen, Terry sent her picture to Elite Modelling Agency in New York City, and very quickly landed herself an exclusive contract with Mademoiselle. After she had modelled for around a year and a half, Terry began acting studies. At twenty, she landed a major role on the series Paper Dolls. In 1992, she portrayed Cat in a pilot for the American version of Red Dwarf. Terry refuses to discuss the project, and rumours abound that this is because she was never paid for the project. In 1993, at age thirty, Terry was offered the role of Lieutenant Commander Jadzia Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. She played the role for six seasons, and was killed off when she left. Her next major role was on the television series Becker as Reggie Kostas. After playing the role for four years, apparently contract disputes arose, and the producers cut Terry from her contract. She was the cast scapegoat. She now lives in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with her husband Brian Baker, their child, and a dog. She is now taking a break to concentrate on her family and raising her son.
