Tea Leoni was born Elizabeth Tea Pantaleoni on the 25th of February, 1966, in New York City, New York, USA. Tea is of American, Italian, and Polish origins. Her grandmother was Helen Tradusa Adamowska, a film and stage actress. Tea’s first true claim to fame was starring in 1995s smash Bad Boys with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. That same year, she won the lead role of Nora Wilde in The Naked Truth, a television sitcom. She has also appeared in Deep Impact, Hollywood Ending, Jurassic Park III, Spanglish with Adam Sandler, and Fun with Dick and Jane with Jim Carrey. Tea has been ranked number 70 on the FHM 100 Sexiest Women of 2000 list. Tea is a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF. She was first married in 1991 to Neil Joseph Tardio, but they divorced only four years later in 1995. She married actor David Duchovny in 1997 after dating for only nine weeks… that’s right, just 63 days of dating! They had a daughter in 1999, and a son in 2002. Tea is a vegetarian, and has recently celebrated her tenth anniversary with husband Duchovny. Tea says that ten years in Hollywood is “50 years in the real world.” Tea has had an asteroid named after her: 8299 Tealeoni. Tea has most recently been seen in You Kill Me as Laurel Pearson.
