Shakara Ledard was born in Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas in 1979. She is a model and actress originally from The Bahamas, now residing in New York. She has been featured in music videos for Justin Timberlake, Usher and Babyface. She has also appeared in the movies After the Sunset and The Defender. She has eight magazine covers on her credits. She has modelled for Loreal, Victoria's Secret, Dove, Levi, H&M, Clinique and Pantene. In 2005 she debut her own line of fashion clothing, ROX brand, it has been a huge success with young women under twenty-five. She has stopped modelling at this time to concentrate on her film and television careers.
