Rachel Blakely was born the 28th July 1968 in Borneo, Indonesia. She is an Australian actress best known for her portrayal of Gaby Willis on the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours from 1991 to 1994. She also had a recurring role in the New Zealand soap opera City Life in 1996. Most recently, she played 'Marguerite Krux' on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World and Glenda Fry in the Australian children's comedy series Mortified. The also had recurring roles in the television series, Zena and Blue Heelers, the first was an international success and was the reason she got the lead role on Lost World. She appeared in a major role in the feature film Attack on the Queen in 2001. The American made (shot on the Gold Coast in Australia) television movie was released direct to video as Counterstrike in America, it was widely panned by critics. She is also reportedly about to go into production on South Sea's Tales based on the Jack London novel. In her unofficial biography (on the Internet) it says she started her career as a model but no details are given and none could be found.
