Paris Hilton, the daughter of the famous hotel entrepreneur, Richard Hilton, was born February 17, 1981, in New York, New York. She dropped out of school at a young age and became known as a party girl. At the age of 19, she signed with Donald Trump?s modelling agency and began to work as a model. She has also modelled with Ford Models and did runways for a while before becoming a print ad model for companies like Tommy Hilfiger, Iceberg Vodka and Marciano. Hilton really hit fame when she starred with childhood pal, Nicole Ritchie in The Simple Life, a television series where the girls attempted “real” jobs while acting like spoiled brats. The show ran for three seasons, despite a rift between the girls after the first two. Though they had footage for two more seasons, these were cancelled on all channels except E! due to the falling out between the two girls. Hilton has also acted in a variety of movies including House of Wax, The Cat in the Hat, Nine Lives, and Raising Helen. In 2004, the heiress started her own record company and released her debut album, Paris two years later. She was most recently sent to prison due to driving under the influence, but was released within hours by the prison guard, due to her “problems”.
