Olivia Hussey was born Olivia Osuna on April 17, 1951. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of seven, her mother moved with her to England where the young Olivia studied at the Italia Conti Academy, a drama school, for five years. She was discovered by Frank Zeffirelli during one of her performances in The Prime of Miss Jeannie Brodie and he gave her the starring role in his 1968 movie, Romeo and Juliet. Hussey?s natural beauty is well-known in the film world, as she has very rarely needed makeup in her films, looking just fine without help. In the seventies, she appeared in a number of movies, including the Canadian production, Black Christmas, as well as Lost Horizon, The Cat and the Canary and Death on the Nile. During that same decade, she was also cast in Jesus of Nazareth, a made for television film where she played the mother of Jesus, Mary. Her later television roles included Boy Meets World, Lonesome Dove: The Series, and voice over for Pinky and the Brain, as well as Superman, the animated series. She has also appeared in movies such as Save Me, Turkeyshoot, El Grito, Head Space and Island Prey. Her most recent films were Seven Days of Grace, 2006 and Tortilla Heaven in 2007.
