Olivia Dabo was born on January 22, 1969 in Paddington, London, England. As a middle child, she grew up with two brothers, one older, the other younger. With a mother who was a model and actress, Maggie London, and a father, Mike d?Abo who was a musician, playing keyboard and singing for Manfred Mann, Olivia grew up surrounded by artistic expression and she found herself quite naturally drawn to it. She decided to try her hand at acting and was cast in Conan the Destroyer in 1982, where she played a princess. That same year, she appeared in Bolero and two years later she found parts in Flying and Bullies. The young actress made a permanent move to Los Angeles at this point, to try and find better work. In 1985 and 1986, she appeared on Growing Pains, though she was only given parts in two episodes. Over the next few years, she made guest appearances on television shows like One Big Family, Really Weird Tales, Tour of Duty, The Bronx Zoo, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. During this time she also found parts in a variety of films and made-for-television movies, including Crash Course, Beyond the Stars and Last Chance. Her more recent projects include A Poor Kid’s Guide to Success and Ultimate Avengers One and Two.
