Who is Odalys Garcia?

Odalys Garcia is a Cuban born in Havana, October 23, 1975. She started modeling at the age of thirteen, having been in dance productions and performing since the tender age of eight. When she was thirteen, her family moved to Miami, allowing the young girl to begin her true calling. She hosted Noche de Gigantes (Night of the Giants) when she was just sixteen. She continued to host the show for two years, building her popularity among the Latino audience. She also hosted De Pelicula (On Film) for a while before taking on the Lente Loca (Crazy Lens), a Spanish-language version of Candid Camera, a hidden camera joke show. When the show went big, The young hostess became quite famous. She began to bring out calendars and became the spokesperson for Musica Latina for Columbia House. She has also acted in the Spanish telenovela, Morelia and has produced a video that sells with her amazingly successful calendars. Her more recent projects include launching a career in music, as well as working as a spokesperson for Bally Fitness. Her music career has been helped considerably by the involvement of Abraham Quintanilla.
