Ninel Conde is a beautiful Mexican born in Toluca, Mexico on September 29, 1970. She didn?t get started with her acting career until she was 25, though she had studied in the Centro de Arte y Teatro Emilia Carranza, a theater arts school. She got started in telenovelas, including Bajo el Mismo Rostro (Under the Same Face) in 1995, Luz Clarita (Bright Light) in 1996 and Catalina y Sebastian in 1999. During her time on the famous Mexican telenovelas, Conde also took guest roles on other television programs, including Gente con Chispa (People with Spark), Lo Que Callamos Las Mujeres (What We Women Keep Quiet), and El Gordo y La Flaca (The Fat and the Thin). She was also cast in the Spanish-language film, Mujeres Frente el Espejo (Women in Front of the Mirror). She has won several awards for her performances, including a Sol de Oro and Palmas de Oro. In 2003, Conde gave up her television acting career to focus on music. Her first album, Ninel Conde, was released that same year, along with the single Callados. A year later, she became even more famous with her 43 day stay on Big Brother VIP. More recently, she began to act in the American spin off of Betty La Fea, Ugly Betty.
