Nina Moric is from Zagreb, Croatia, where she was born on July 22, 1976 into a rather well-to-do middle-class family, where her father was a doctor. She originally planned to become a lawyer, but later decided to use her corporal assets to her advantage and changed her mind about careers, deciding to become a model instead. In 1996, she entered and won second place in the Elite Look of the Year contest. She was given a huge contract ($75,000) for two years with a Croatian modelling agency. At the end of her contract, she re-entered the Look of the Year contest and this time won. During this time, she was actually studying law as well as modelling in Milan. Her career really took off after this as she was picked up by L.A. Models, a very influential modelling agency. Moving to Los Angeles, Moric began to take on some fairly large modelling jobs for clients like Versace and Les Copains. She moved on to auditioning for movies and the like and in a very short time, she was cast in Ricky Martin’s music video, Living the Vida Loca. She also began to work on television in Italy, as a television correspondent on Tomo Sabato. Her future plans include recording an album . . .she has recorded before, though the songs were never released on an album.
