Missy (Melissa) Peregrym was born on the 16th June 1982 in Montreal, Canada. She is an actress and former fashion model. She began modelling at the age of eighteen, appearing in commercials for Mercedes Benz, Sprint Canada and the Olympic Games. She made her acting debut in a 2002 episode of the television series Dark Angel, and spent the next several years appearing in television roles. She had guest appearances on shows like, The Cris Isaak Show, Black Sash, Jake 2.0, Smallville, Tru Calling, Life as We Know It, Andromeda and Heroes. She also had a major part in the made for television movie, Call Me: the Rise and fall of Heidi Fleiss. She made her big screen debut playing the lead role in 2006's Stick It, about a rebellious punk rocker's involvement in gymnastics. She also appears in the web-only short film Le Montage. Her role on Heroes was as the illusion-generating Candice Wilmer. Billed in promotional materials as "a female temptress" set to appear in the 18th Episode. She is currently playing the lead female role in the series, Reaper, a role originally intended for Nikki Reed according to the Hollywood press. Missy still lives in Canada. She is also bilingual, in French and English.
