Marley Shelton was born April 12th, 1974 in Los Angeles, California. The actress has the perfect life training for the career she is enjoying in movies geared towards teenaged audiences—whether romantic, screamers, horror, or fantasy. She was the daughter of a television commercial producer, a Varsity cheerleader, and a real life Prom Queen whose actual date to her high school event was Buffy the Vampire the Slayer actor Nicholas Brendon (Xander Harris, the human vampire slayer without special powers unless one is impressed by alcoholism). Shelton has gone on to star as Princess Elysia in fantasy Warriors of Virtue (1997), and appeared in Lured Innocence (1999) and Never Been Kissed starring Drew Barrymore (1999). She was one of the stars of Valentine (2001), a movie about 4 friends who get eerie Valentines Day cards from someone who they eventually find out they spurned when they were younger, ready to wreak revenge upon them on the upcoming Valentines Day. Recently, Shelton was The Customer in Sin City (2005), and Dr. Dakota Block in the Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino directed double feature Grindhouse (2007). Shelton had fun with her image as a co-host of the Scream Awards 2006 which honored sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and cult movies. The actress married producer Beau Flynn in 2001.
