Maggie Grace was born September 21st, 1983 in Worthington, Ohio. The actresses widest audience comes from being cast as an original survivor beginning with the first pilot of the crash of an airliner on the island where anything can happen as long as it could also be a part of a mescaline trip, ABCs hugely popular Lost. The show has already given Grace cult immortality. . . and its onscreen opposite as wealthy but self-absorbed Shannon Rutherford. But Graces own story as an actress is nearly as interesting as a plot on Lost. Her first paying break came from industry giant Sony Pictures in the title character of a show with a catch. Grace played Rachel Reed in 2001s Rachels Room, the odd part about this venture was it was made to appear like a real interactive online diary with a teen who just wanted to talk, share her thoughts, show you her favourite music, and let you see her online musings. Only problem, it was completely scripted. Rachels Room was a less successful version of lonelygirl15, the hoax that really did confuse the My Space population with a supposedly home schooled girls interactive video diary and a desire for online friends. Grace is still working in television although she appears to have made her exit from Lost after being shot to death, and even eulogized in a funeral. But who knows? They still have her listed as a special guest star.
