Ludivine Sagnier was born on July 3rd, 1979 in La Celle-Saint-Cloud, Yvelines, France. She is an actress whose film debut occurred in 1989 at the incredibly young age of ten in no less than two movies Je Veux Rentrer a la Maison— I Want to Go Home and Les Maris, Les Femmes, Les Amants, or Husbands, Women, Lovers. Sagniers already won six acting awards, including the Chopin Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2002 and she was part of a French sensation released the same year, the comedy murder mystery 8 Women (8 Femmes) which was probably most extraordinary for its cast. It was a multigenerational gem with now legendary Catherine Deneuvre to Emanuelle Beart, and younger Sagnier with 5 other amazing French women all appearing onscreen together in one light and lovable cinematic confection. In the 2003 version of Peter Pan released by Universal Studios for which a part named Aunt Millicent was created for veteran actress Lynn Redgrave, Sagnier brought an unpredictable touch of fairy magic to the screen as Tink (as in Tinker Bell). Sagnier continues to work primarily in what she describes as the small, wonderful, artsy cottage industry of French cinema. She gave birth to a daughter in 2005 with boyfriend, actor Nicolas Duvauchelle.
