Lori Loughlin was born on July 28th, 1964 in Queens, New York. The American actress is best known to audiences as the woman who married Uncle Jesse on the long running ABC show Full House (1987-1995) about a father and his two brothers who raise three daughters (including the Olsen twins who together played the youngest character, little Michelle Tanner) after their mothers death in a car accident. John Stamos as Uncle Jesse was the only sex symbol on the family show-- the handsome, leather wearing, Elvis Presley look-a-like (or wannabe) Rocker. Full Houses syrupy, standard, lesson laden plots eventually needed some updating and movement forward in time so Loughlin was brought in to turn Stamos-Jesse the Wild One into a family man. Her character of Aunt Becky was well accepted by fans of the series although both Loughlin and Stamos stopped appearing on the show in 1993. Loughlin oddly paralleled this formula with the WB drama she co-created, produced and starred in called Summerland (2004-2005) in which she was an aunt raising three children whose parents both died in a car accident. That show was cancelled after only one season but Loughlin did win a 2006 Prism award for her performance.
