Lindsay Lohan was born July 2nd, 1986 in New York. The actress-singer is known for her Disney movies and teen film roles, but her notoriety comes from off stage drama. Her film accomplishments began with the Disney remake of The Parent Trap (1998). Since then Lohan achieved more popular success and has grown from freckled face kid to young woman in roles like Freaky Friday where she and mother Jamie Lee Curtis switch bodies (2003), Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004), Mean Girls (2004), Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005), and Georgia Rules (2007) with Jane Fonda. Lohans also released two successful albums: Speak in 2004 which went Platinum and A Little More Personal (Raw) in 2005 which went Gold. Although her career is a young womans dream – achieving most of what her heroine Ann-Margret did in the 1960s -- shes been troubled lately. Newspapers and the paparazzi have chronicled her underaged drinking and driving, car wrecks, nightly club hopping, no shows on the sets of movies at least starting with Georgia Rules, drastic weight loss, alleged drug use, father who has done time in prison, and mother who parties with her and her young friends. Lohan is currently attempting to rehabilitate her health and personal life with professional help.
