Lena Headey was born on the 3rd of October,1973 in Bermuda and raised in England. She is a British actress who won the Silver Iris Best Actress award at the Brussels European Film Festival for her role in Aberdeen (2000), and has been nominated for three other acting awards. The dark haired Brit has recently been cast as one of the most iconic female science fiction characters, formerly played by American Linda Hamilton. Headey will appear in the title role in The Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles slated to begin airing as a television series in 2008. The show follows Sarah and her son John as they seek to prevent the apocalyptic rise of the machines by destroying Skynet. Headys impressive nearly fifty film and television credits have included a wide range of roles. She was a leading character in 1994s The Jungle Book during which she began a relationship with fellow British actor Jason Flemyng that had the hallmarks and descent of a true Hollywood romance. Reminiscent of Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, Heady had her paramours name tattooed in Thai on her upper right arm and then scrambled to change it into butterflies, stars, and ethnic art once the relationship faltered and died.
