Who is Laura Ponte?

Laura Ponte y Martinez was born on the 9th June 1973 in Pontevedra, Galician, Spain. She is a former fashion model and literally royalty, by marriage, she married Beltran Gomez-Acebo y Borbon on the 18th September 2004, in Sergovia. Her husband is the nephew of King Juan Carlos 1 of Spain. They have one son, Luis Felipe Gomez-Acebo y Ponte, born on the 1st July 2005, and one daughter Laura Gomez-Acebo y Ponte, born the 1st July 2006, exactly one year after her brother. She entered the fashion industry in 1993, and has worked for Valentino, Lagerfeld and Ralph Lauren among others. Since her marriage she has still worked but in a very limited way, she still models but only in Spain, she has also branched out into television, appearing in a host of guest roles on Spanish TV. She has also become a television and film producer having first been production manager on two short films. Her most notable work so far is a travel documentary for the Spanish National Travel service, which she hosted as well as produced.
