Who is Kristy Swanson?

Kristy Swanson was born on the 19th December 1969 in Mission Viejo, California, USA. She is an actress and glamour model. Swanson began acting early; by the time she turned fifteen, she had appeared in over thirty TV commercials. She originated the role of Buffy Summers in the film version (not to be confused with the TV series) of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1992. In the 1998-1999 season of Early Edition, she played Erica Paget, a love interest of the main character, Gary Hobson. In November 2002 she posed nude for Playboy. In 2007 she played an Anna Nicole-Smith type character who is addicted to pills and has fallen on hard times in the Law and Order: Criminal Intent episode, Bombshell. She appeared in and won the 2006 FOX program Skating with celebrities with partner Lloyd Eisler. The surprise for everyone was that they were a real couple, having been together for over a year by the time the show was filmed, this was only made public half way through the series after much speculation about their seeming "natural intimacy" in the show. What also found its way into the public arena near the end of the show was that she was pregnant with their first child, the network did not like this, as it meant they virtually couldn't lose. She gave birth to their son ion February 2007.
