Kristen Bell was born on the 18th July 1980 in Huntingdon Woods, Michigan, USA. She is an actress best known for starring in the title role of the television series Veronica Mars from 2004 to 2007. In 1998, her debut year and her last year of high school she appeared in the locally (to her home) made film Polish Wedding. Her next role wasn't until she was in her final year of university in 2001, she left to take a key role as Becky Thatcher in the short-lived Broadway Musical of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. She auditioned for the Smallville TV role of Chloe Sullivan, a part eventually won by Allison Mack. In 2002, she appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible. Kristen then appeared in a handful of television shows as a special guest before landing a role in the movie The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay in 2003. A year later, she appeared in the television movie Gracie's Choice, it was this role that allowed her to be chosen as Veronica Mars. While the series was running she made numerous movies and guest appearances but nothing with outstanding success. After Veronica Mars was cancelled at the end of 2006 she was rumoured to be cast in Lost but instead she has been a regular on Heroes, having been in thirteen episodes so far.
