Who is Kelly Ripa?

Kelly Ripa was born on the 2nd October 1970 in Berlin, New Jersey, USA. She is an actress, television personality and talk show host. Since February 2001, she has served as the co-host of Live with Regis and Kelly, alongside Regis Philbin, taking the show's rating to a new high when she replaced previous Live co-host Kathie Lee Gifford. She is also known for her acting on All My Children and for playing Faith Fairfield, one of the main characters in Hope & Faith. She is also very well known for her self parodies, on numerous occasions on both Hope & Faith and LRK she has taken part in skits that really take the mickey out of her, usually playing another person who makes fun of the person playing her. In television she is supposed to have a natural talent for the "one liner" as most of her infamous comments were not written for her or rehearsed. After Hope & Faith was cancelled in 2006 Kelly announced she was through with acting for a while, doing the two shows at the same time was an exhausting experience for her. She has been married since 1996 and has three children, but even her marriage was controversial at the time, she eloped and was married in Las Vegas against her parent's wishes.
