Jill Hennessy, full name: Jillian Noel Hennessy was born in Alberta, Canada on the 25th November 1968. She is an actress who is best known for her roles on television in Law & Order and Crossing Jordan. She has a brother and an identical twin sister, Jacqueline. She graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario and her first career was as a busker in the Toronto Subway. Jill and her sister played twin prostitutes in the 1988 movie Dead Ringers. She was short-listed for the role of Dana Scully in the X-Files. Jill played Claire Kincaid on Law & Order from 1993 to 1996 and currently has the lead role in Crossing Jordan. In 2000, she wrote, produced, and co-directed the independent film The Acting Class. The film co-starred her sister, and included cameos by a number of Jill's former Law & Order co-stars. In 2001 she portrayed Jackie Kennedy in the film Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot. She also appeared on Broadway in the 1990 musical, Buddy- The Buddy Holly Story. Her most recent movie was as Tim Allen's wife in Wild Hogs in 2007. In June 2007 she received a star on Canada's Walk of Fame. She is reportedly also recording an album but it is very secret, neither the content nor a release date has been mentioned.
