Jennifer Gareis was born August 1, 1970 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She began her career by entering her first beauty pageant in 1992. Gareis took second place in the Miss Pennsylvania contest and later went on to be a contestant in the Miss New York pageant, which she won in 1994. That same year, she represented New York in the Miss USA contest in Texas. Though she placed in the top six, Gareis didn?t win the pageant, the title went to Lu Parker who was representing South Carolina. Retiring from pageants, Gareis decided to try her hand at acting, debuting in The Mirror Has Two Faces, though she went uncredited in the movie. Her next acting gig was in Howard Stern’s Private Parts, then she had a bit part in Lifebreath. She finally landed bigger roles in 2000 with Gangland, Luckytown, Sixth Day and Miss Congeniality. She has also been in Diagnosis Murder (the television series), The Groomsmen, and College Try. In 1999, she had appeared on The Young and the Restless as Grace Turner and in 2004, she returned to the soap opera as a regular. In 2006, she was cast as Donna Logan in another soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, where she continues to work.
