Jennifer Esposito is a true New Yorker, born in Brooklyn on April 11, 1973. Though she made her debut on Law and Order, Esposito is far better known for her role as Stacey on Spin City where she starred opposite Michael Jay Fox. When the show had to be cancelled because of Michael Jay Fox?s worsening Parkinson’s, the young actress began auditioning for movies. She appeared in a variety of films between 1997 and 2005 when she began working in television again with the television series Related. Despite her return to mainstream television, her movie credit list is impressive, with appearances in A Brooklyn State of Mind, Dracula 2000, Backflash, Don?t Say a Word, Made, and The Master of Disguise. She has also taken roles in Breakin? All the Rules, Crash, Taxi and Snow Wonder as well as appearing in a few other television shows like Judging Amy and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Currently, Esposito is acting in the television program Samantha Who? She has also been cast in the film Conspiracy, which is still in pre-production, but is scheduled to be released in 2008. The actress has no plans to leave the film industry, but is content to work on movies during the off season of Samantha Who?
