Jamie Luner was born on May 12, 1971 in Palo Alto, California. She got an early start in her acting career, beginning with television commercials at the age of just three years old. At fifteen, she won an award at the L.A. Shakespeare festival for her monologue. She worked on the television series, Just the Ten of Us through high school and then took a break from the acting world after graduation. The child actress went on to study at a culinary school and became a chef at a French restaurant called Drai`s. In 1993, Luner returned to the small screen with bit parts in shows like Moment of Truth: Why My Daughter?, Married with Children and Diagnosis Murder. Her big break didn’t come until the soap opera Savannah, where she played the part of sultry Peyton Richards. When the show was cancelled, she traveled the US for a while before heading back to acting and taking a part in Melrose Place. She later acted on Profiler, The Perfect Marriage, Blind Injustice and Stranger in my Home among others. In addition to her television work, Luner has appeared onstage in plays like Black and Bluestein.
