Jamie Lee Curtis is the daughter of two famous actors, Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis . Born November 22, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, she was known as “The Scream Queen” for years, due to the 1978 horror flick, Halloween. Later, she appeared in a variety of films like Trading Places, A Fish Called Wanda and Perfect up until 1990. Blue Steel was her first movie made and released in 1990, shortly after, she was cast in the big screen hits Queen’s Logic, Forever Young, and My Girl. Curtis played Hannah Miller for a year on the television series Anything But Love. Curtis took on a guest star role on the Drew Carey Show in 1996. She has also appeared in the following movies, The Tailor of Panama, The Heidi Chronicles, Fierce Creatures, A Home for the Holidays and Homegrown. She also appeared, in voice only, as Queen Camilla in the cartoon, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys. As a young actress Curtis saw Christopher Guest (her future husband) on the cover of Rolling Stone, and then again at the preview for Spinaltap. She gave her phone number to his agent, hoping to meet him and the two were married in 1984. They have two adopted children, Anne and Thomas.
