Jaime Pressly was born in Kinston, North Carolina on July 30, 1977. Her early life revolved around dance and gymnastics, making her a rather flexible child. In the television series Push, she played a young gymnast, a great role that stereotyped her for the beginning of her career. The show didn’t last long, though and at the age of fourteen, Pressly moved on to modelling. She worked as the spokesperson for her modelling agency, International Cover Model Search. A messy divorce between her parents caused the young model to seek emancipation from her family at the age of fifteen. She then worked on a variety of films, including Can’t Hardly Wait, Ring Master, and Poison Ivy: The New Seduction, as well as appearing on several television programs such as Mortal Kombat: Conquest, Night Man, Trash and Inferno. In 2000, her career really took off with 100 Girls, Poor White Trash and Best Actress. The following year, she appeared in Joe Dirt and took on the role of Audrey Griffin in the television series Jack and Jill. Pressly has had a large number of guest appearances on series like Becker, Happy Family, Fast Lane and the Twilight Zone, as well as portraying the part of Joy Turner in My Name is Earl. Her most recent project is doing a voiceover for the children’s cartoon, Horton Hears a Who, based on the book by Dr. Seuess.
