Inna Zobova, the supermodel, is originally from Kimsky, Russia, where she was born on June 28, 1976. Her birth was an eventful one, as it was discovered that she had a hole in her heart, a condition which required a surgery when she was six years old to correct it. Despite the scar from heart surgery, Zobova went on to become a model. Originally, she did a few modeling jobs to get extra spending money while she studied anthropology and psychology in the university, but in 1994, the young student entered a beauty pageant and won, becoming Miss Russia. She then competed in Miss Universe, but lost, her highest mark was in National Costume where she ranked third. Since then, she has worked as a model, doing runway modeling for the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Hermes, Yves Saint Laurent, and Yohji Yamamoto, among others. She has also appeared on the covers of Marie Claire, Femme, Harper?s Bazaar and Glamour, as well as being featured at Number 51 in GQ?s 200 Sexiest Women in the World. Other awards/recognitions include Top Model of the Year from Marie Claire, number 105 in Glamour Girls Hot 500 and she was in the top 20 Most Beautiful Women in the World in GQ, 2005.
