Who is Ines Rivero?

Ines Rivero was born Maria Ines Rivero on June 7, 1975 in Cordoba, Argentina. The Argentinean model got her start when her mother sent her to a ladies school, with the intention of teaching her to be more graceful. The young girl apparently learned quite a bit at school and took part in a local fashion show at the age of 14. At age 16, Rivero was taken on by an agent who discovered her and just a year later she won the preliminaries in Look of the Year hosted by Elite. Shortly thereafter, the aspiring young model appeared in Giorgio Armani ads. Since then, Rivero has been featured in a wide variety of international advertising campaigns for H-I-S Jeans, Saks Fifth Avenue and Romeo Gigli, among others. Her career has also included being on the covers of ELLE (Argentina edition) and the French Marie Claire. After becoming successful in the print arena, she moved on to the catwalks, appearing in fashion shows wearing assorted designers, such as Yves Saint Laurent, John Galliano, and Christian Dior. She has also been featured in Victoria’s Secrets and is both a Cover Girl and a Ford model. In addition to her modeling work, Rivero has a musical album called Hasta Siempre and has appeared in the music video of Enrique Iglesia?s Esperanza.
