Hana Soukupova, a Czech supermodel, was born in Karlovy Vary in what is now the Czech Republic, on December 18, 1985. She was very tall from an early age, so she played basketball before becoming a model at the tender age of thirteen. As a young girl, she enjoyed art and continues to take ceramic and pottery classes to this day. At fifteen, she signed with a Prague modelling agency. Her height and blue-eyed blonde look have made her a popular young model, with more work than she can handle. Soukupova has appeared on the front cover of ELLE, Spur, Harpers Bazaar, W and assorted versions of Vogue, including Italian Vogue. Her list of modelling credits is massive, including Michael Kors, Chanel, Fendi, Chloe, Valentino, Dior, Versace, Ralph Lauren, and Missoni, among dozens of other top fashion designers. Her resume also includes a long list of haute couture credits, she?s modelled the newest styles for Armani Prive, Christian Lacroix and Elie Saab, among others. In 2004, the model was chosen to portray today?s supermodel in a Vogue issue that compared the supermodels of this day and age to the ones back in the 1980?s. Soukupova now lives in New York, which she uses as her home base and lives with her husband, Drew Aaron, president of the Aaron Group.
