Who is Gina Gershon?

Gina Gershon was born in Los Angeles, California, USA on the 10th June 1962. She is a film and television actress and is best known for her roles in the films Showgirls (1995) and Bound (1996). Gina is Jewish as her surname suggests and proud of it. She attended Beverly Hills High School, a well-know breeding ground for actors, or so the tabloids think. One of her classmates was Lenny Kravitz. After high school she went to Emerson College with other well-known people who are now in the "industry". Gina is regarded as a "Gay Idol" due to her roles in movies, Bound (in which she played a lesbian) and Showgirls (which is regarded as the camp classic). While her good looks and frequent nude appearances have also gained her a substantial heterosexual male fan base. She was ranked number fifty one on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2004. She paly the Jew's harp and has done so on television. He best know television role has been on the hit series, Ugly Betty as an Italian cosmetics mogul. She has dated businessmen Sean McPherson and Jay Penske as well as actors, John Cusack and Owen Wilson but is not married and has no children.
