Frederique Van Der Wal is a Dutch Supermodel, born in The Hague, Zuid-Holland on 30th August 1967. Educated in the Netherlands where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Economics, she first shot to prominence as the face of Victoria's Secret when the company was initially targeted at young women in the 1980's, at that time her and Stephanie Seymour were the "faces" of the company. Frederique has also appeared regularly in Cosmopolitan and Sports Illustrated (swimsuit editions as well). She has also appeared in seven films and two television shows. Her first foray onto the screen was as Gertrude in "Burnzy's Last Call" (1995), her last single show was on "Celebrity Mole, Hawaii" (2003) in which she was the mole. Between times she appeared in movies and shows on a regular basis, her best know role was as Amazonia in "Wild Wild West" with Will Smith. Currently she hosts TLC's "Cover Shot" program. She also has her own range of clothing and fragrances. Now she puts her degree to use managing her own business empire that is growing rapidly. Frederique and partner Nicholas Klein have a daughter, Scyler Pim Klein, born October 2000.
