Faith Hill was born Audrey Faith Perry on the 21st of September, 1967, in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She is a country/pop singer in the United States. Faith was adopted as a baby and was raised in a Christian home. She first performed when she was seven, and as a teenager, she was singing in a number of different churches. She moved to Nashville when she was nineteen. In 1998, she married music executive Dan Hill, and in 2000 she began searching for her birth mother. Faith became a demo singer, a back up singer, and finally an exec at Warner Bros. Records signed her up. In 1993, Faith released her debut Take Me As I Am. It sold 3 million copies and was highly successful. However, her marriage was not so successful and she was divorced in 1994. Faith’s second album was delayed due to damaged vocal chords, but she released It Matters to Me in 1995. In 1996, Faith was engaged to former producer Scott Hendricks. She also began touring with Tim McGraw. They were attracted to each other, so Faith broke off her engagement with Hendricks and began dating McGraw. They got engaged whilst on tour and were married in October 1996. They have since had three daughters. In 1998 she released her third album Faith, and then her fourth album Breathe. She is now up to album number 8.
