Eva Habermann was born Eva Felicitas Habermann on the 16th of January, 1976, in Hamburg, Germany. She best known for her role as Zev Bellringer in the television miniseries Lexx. This role was later taken over by Xenia Seeberg. Habermann was just nineteen when she began working on Lexx. By no stretch of the imagination was it her first role, but it was definitely her first lead role at that point. Habermann turned twenty years old during the filming of the four telemovies that she was involved in. She did not continue into the second season as she had conflicts with her schedule. Two years passed between the telemovies and the establishment of the series, and she was offered a German television series role in that time. There was no guarantee that further episodes of Lexx would go ahead, so she took the offer, which then clashed when the Lexx series was announced. She did appear in the first two episodes, though, which enabled her character to be properly written out. In 2003, Habermann was ranked number 17 on German FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women list. Since Lexx she has gone on to a number of roles, including Viola Kimmling in Die Strangclique, Lena Heitmann in Wilde Engel, and most recently as Erin O’Toole in Unsere Farm in Irland, Lore in Die ProSieben Marchenstunde, and Hanna Stetten in Utta Danella. 2007 was an excellent year for Habermann as she racked up seven screen credits alone.
