Eva Green was born Eva Gaelle Green on the 5th of July, 1980, in Paris, France. She works as an actress and model in both Paris and London. Her mother is an actress and her father is a dentist. She has a twin sister. She grew up in France, London, and Ireland. At seventeen, she enrolled in the Eva St. Paul Drama School in Paris, and then went on to the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She also went to the Tisch School of the Arts in NYC. She began working in the theatre in Paris, and she was nominated for a Les Molieres award. Bernardo Bertolucci offered her the leading role in The Dreams in 2003, in which she was nude in several scenes. She also wrote the score for the movie. She then appeared in Kingdom of Heaven, but many of her scenes ending on the cutting room floor, until Ridley Scott released his director’s cut. She was offered the role of Vespa in Casino Royale, which she initially turned down, but eventually accepted. Entertainment Weekly named her the fourth best Bond Girl of all time. She has been linked to co-star Marton Csokas, but she calls her pet dog her husband.
