Who is Erika Eleniak?

Erika Eleniak was born Erika Maya Eleniak on the 29th of September, 1969, in Glendale, California. Her father is of Ukrainian origins and her mother is of Estonian and German origins. Her first acting role was in the very famous E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in 1982. She is the girl kissed by Elliott in the classroom. She began partying as a teenager, and in 1988 a friend introduced her to Alcoholics Anonymous. She acted in Charles in Charge, Broken Angel, and in 1989, she decided to appear in Playboy to boost her career. She appeared on two covers, and in July 1989 she featured as the centrefold. After four auditions, Eleniak landed the role of Shauni McClain in Baywatch. She became romantically linked to Billy Warlock, and in 1992 she left the show and was replaced with Pamela Anderson. She then announced her engagement to Billy Warlock, but it didn’t last due to his jealousy. She continues to act, appearing in a string of independent films. During her public life, she has battled with weight issues. She has spoken about dealing with bulimia, and has been severely underweight. Recently, she has been overweight and even appeared in Celebrity Fit Club. She lost 31 pounds during the show. In 2005, Eleniak fell pregnant, but she tragically lost the baby due to it being an ectopic pregnancy. She has since had a daughter.
