Who is Erika Christensen?

Erika Christensen was born Erika Jane Christensen on the 19th of August, 1982, in Seattle, Washington. Her brother is actor Hayden Christenson. She has Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Welsh, and Irish origins. She was raised in Los Angeles, and is a member of the Church of Scientology. Her parents are Scientologists, and they home schooled her. She first appeared on several television shows, including The Geena Davis Show, Frasier, The Practice, and Touched by an Angel. When she was thirteen, she landed a role on Leave it to Beaver. In 2001, she was named a Breakthrough Star by People magazine. She received several awards for her role in the film Traffic. She has also dabbled in music, recording a duet with John Stevens in 2005. She has since appeared in Swimfan, The Banger Sisters, The Perfect Score, Riding the Bullet, The Sisters, The Upside of Anger, Flightplan, Six Degrees, How to Rob a Bank, and as Jennifer in I’m in Hell.
