Who is Drew Barrymore?

Drew Barrymore was born February 22, 1975 into the renowned Barrymore acting family of John Drew Barrymore and Ildiko Jaid Barrymore (nee Mako) an aspiring actress. Drew’s parents divorced after she was born. She has a half brother John Blyth Barrymore, also an actor, and two half-sisters, Blyth and Brahma. Her acting lineage paces back some 200 years into the past; her great-great grandparents John and Louisa Lane, her great-grandparents, and her grandparents John Barrymore and Dolores Costello were all highly successful actors. She is the grandniece of Lionel Barrymore, Ethel Barrymore, and Helene Costello, and the great grandniece of John Drew, Jr., actress Louisa Drew, and she is the goddaughter of director Steven Spielberg. Drew was bitten by her would be co-star in the first audition she ever had. She was just 11 months old. The dog was teething and Barrymore just laughed at the unexpected nibble.
