Dian Parkinson was born Dianna Lynn Batts, on November 30th, 1944, in Jacksonville, NC. She is a model/spokeswoman who became a regular on the popular American television program The Price Is Right. Dian Parkinson was the longest running spokes model for TPIR and was featured for 18 years in this position. She was very popular among male viewers for her role on the televised Bump game during this same era. Dian and another popular model Janice Pennington had a much-publicized feud, from which it is rumoured sprung the exodus of Dian from The Price Is Right in 1993. Dian later filed sexual harassment charges against host Bob Barker regarding what she referred to as forced sexual acts in the 1980's. The suite was withdrawn for lack of substantial evidence in 1995. It would seem that the lovely spokesmodel did not reach her apex after the TPIR game departure. She did not go into film or some other television venue, but instead opted for a spread with Playboy in December of 1991 and again in May of 1993. There is little written after this time but it has been rumoured that she married and left the country in 1995 after a two year run of no work and the failed law suite to mock her. Maybe she will pop back up on the radar but after nine years, one can only guess at the direction taken by this free spirited celebrity.
