Denise Crosby was born Denise Michelle Crosby on the 24th of November 1957. She is an actress whose choice of career became known to her when she was very young. Denise was most influenced by her family, rich in the line of showbiz names and faces. Her father is actor Dennis Crosby, and her grandfather... Bing Crosby, no less. Denise’s first high profile spot was on a soap opera, Days of Our Lives, in which she played Lisa Davis. Prior to this she was a dancer on Chris Issac’s first music video Dancin’. Her first film appearance was with Eddie Murphy, in 1982, in his film called 48 Hours. In 1987, Denise was cast in a spotlight role as Tasha Yar, in the now epic Return of Star Trek, made for T.V. All bets were that her role would grow and expand, yet she became disillusioned after 6 years of being in the background while other characters took their turn in the spotlight. Denise’s character was killed off by an alien creature named ARMUS. Denise worked as Dr. Gretchen Kelly on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, the feature film Deep Impact, a short lived series called Key West, and a Quentin Tarantino film called Jackie Brown. Denise is married to Ken Sylk and has a son, August William Sylk. Denise has been a very busy person. Nude photos were distributed after her trekky sojourn from a 1979 playboy pictorial in which she was depicted as a new wave model.
