Daryl Hannah was born December 3rd, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Susan, and Don Hannah. Hannah, a vegetarian since age eleven was one of eight children (including half-siblings and step-siblings), consisting of seven girls and a brother, Don. She went to school at Francis Parker and the Chicago Latin School in Chicago until 6th grade and moved to Parker. Hannah was 17 when she made her debut in the year 1978 Brian De Palma thriller The Fury. She appeared in several early 1980s films including the most notable role as the replicant, Pris, in Ridley Scotts 1982 film, Blade Runner. She did Jack Lemmons daughter character in both of the Grumpy Old Men films. In 1995, Hannah became the #96 of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history. Hannah also wrote, directed and produced The Last Supper, a short film which won an award at the Berlin Film Festival. She directed, produced and did cinematography for the documentary Strip Notes as well. Hannah lives in Colorado now, is a keen environmentalist and uses solar power. She drives a car that runs on bio-diesel for the last five years. Hannah was involved with John F. Kennedy, Jr on a long term relationship, singers Jackson Browne and Robbie Williams, and actor Val Kilmer. She is the sister-in-law of well-known music producer Lou Adler, who is married to Page, Hannahs sister.
